Lockheed Martin is shopping for buses from Terran Orbital for the Area Improvement Company’s Transport Layer

WASHINGTON — Terran Orbital introduced Dec. 22 it has accomplished supply of 10 satellite tv for pc buses ordered by Lockheed Martin for the Area Improvement Company’s mesh community in low Earth orbit.

Lockheed Martin in August 2020 received a $187.5 million contract from the Area Improvement Company (SDA) to supply 10 communications satellites for the Transport Layer Tranche 0. 

The Tranche 0 constellation will present safe high-bandwidth, low-latency information hyperlinks for army customers.
